What counts as an emergency

If the fence is keeping something in or out that matters today, it's urgent: a dog that can get out, a pool that's open to the street or the neighbors, a section that fell onto a sidewalk or a neighbor's yard, or a side of the house left open. A fence that's leaning but standing can wait for a normal estimate.

Keep pets inside or leashed, and keep everyone out of a pool area with a broken barrier.
Close the gap with plywood, a spare panel, or wire fencing screwed or zip-tied to the standing posts, and stake the bottom edge. Dogs push under flimsy fixes.
